This week at St Botolph’s we report about Angie Kisby and Adam Kelk visiting Kings Lynn for a research day. The Guild Hall complex is a completed Heritage Lottery funded project entitled ‘Stories of Lynn’, where the stories about historical people involved in Kings Lynn are told. Angie Kisby said, ‘They have a beautiful and high-quality display made from a collection of historic and valuable silver spoons and the highly embellished King John Cup, we have seen nothing else like it for originality and focus.’
Our interpretation designers, PLB, worked on Guild Hall Complex project and the team benefited from seeing an example of their exceptional completed work.
After this Adam and Angie went to the St Nicholas Chapel which is a grade one listed building managed by the Churches Conservation Trust. The staff and volunteers there were very welcoming to the team who were able to learn about their activities and get some advice for planning St Botolph’s activity plan. We look forward to welcoming them to visit us sometime soon as an exchange of ideas is always very useful and making new relationships is all part of the effect of the HLF
