Final Service Marks the End of an Extraordinary Chapter for the Louise & Sarah Memorial Fund

01 July 2026

Today, Fr David and Adam had the privilege of attending a very special service in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Westgate Woods, marking the conclusion of the work of the Louise & Sarah Memorial Fund Committee.

The service was led by the Rt Revd Dr Nicholas Chamberlin, Acting Bishop of Lincoln and Patron of the Fund, in the presence of Lady Sarah McCorquodale, who has also faithfully served as Patron.

The Louise & Sarah Memorial Fund is a Lincolnshire-based charity dedicated to supporting people bereaved by road traffic accidents. As the committee now brings its work to a close, we want to express our sincere gratitude and admiration for the dedication, vision and countless hours of work given by every member over the years.

Their commitment has created a truly beautiful memorial garden – a place of peace, remembrance and hope that will continue to provide comfort and reflection for generations to come.

What they have achieved is a lasting legacy, and everyone involved should be immensely proud of the difference they have made.

Thank you to the Louise & Sarah Memorial Fund Committee for your faithful service and unwavering commitment. Your work will live on in this special place and in the hearts of all who visit.
